Catholic Life

September 25, 26, and 27, 2017

6:30 p.m.

As a result of the 2016 Parish survey and Town Hall meetings these past few months, we found ourselves asking "what is the significance of being a parish influenced by the Franciscan tradition?"  We are happy to announce our 2017 Catholic Life Series is dedicated to some very timely themes in Franciscan thinking and we are pleased to host three Franciscans as presenters/speakers.

Monday September 25, 2017: The Franciscan Notion of God presented by Fr. Tom Nairn, OFM, Minister Provincial of the Sacred  Heart Province

Tuesday September 26, 2017: St. Bonaventure and Creation presented by Fr. Dennis Schafer, OFM, Associate Pastor of Sacred Heart and St. Patrick Parishes

Wednesday September 27, 2017: Francis and the Sultan presented by Fr. Mike Cusato, OFM, Scholar and Resident of the Commissariat of the Holy Land in Washington DC

All three evenings will begin with a light supper at 6:30 p.m. with the first two evenings located in the Parish Hall.  Our friends from the Islamic Society of North America have been invited to share reflections with us on Wednesday, 9/27/17, with the location to be determined.

Plan now to join us as this year's Catholic Life Series promises to provide an

enriching experience and a deeper appreciation of Franciscan Spirituality.
